Chiazo

A Tuna Catcher son out of our stunning Chelita, we purchased Chiazo alongside his dam at Michael & Linda Pierce’s sale with hot and heavy bidding against Bon & Cindy Burgess as well as Vicki Miller and Jim Carter.  We went the distance and came home with Chelita & Chiazo. Why we were willing to “go to the mat” in this bidding war? We had already determined that Chelita and Chiazo would be perfect for our “vicuna suri” line. Although they did not meet our elite fiber qualities, it was the prepotency of their pedigrees for this color pattern, and 2-L llama characteristics we wanted.

Chiazo has now impregnated Vicuna Image and we are offering 1⁄2 interest in him.  Whether you share our interest in Incan vicuna suris (a line of selectively bred 2-L, ILR registered llamas with the breeding goal of recreating an elite fibered Incan suri llama which can rival vicuna fiber fineness) or are just looking for an excellent herdsire, you’ll want to consider Chiazo.
